Why Cardio Does Not Work In Me?

by Ricardo Daryans

It’s funny how cardio can work well for some, and not at all for others. It’s supposed to work great for all women and men, but it’s not always so. Here’s why and what to do.

After all, some men and women do cardio 6 hours, 9 hours, or more per week, and still have belly fat to burn. On the other hand, it works just fine for others. British researchers wanted to get more insight into this paradox, and studied 35 overweight men and women, who weren’t previously exercising.

The results: the subjects lose an average of 8.2 pounds, exercising 5 times per week for 12 weeks. By now, it seems cardio works, and in a great way. But wait, there’s still more.

If we analyse the results we’ll find some surprises. The best subject lost 32.3 pounds in 12 weeks, but the worst subject actually gained 3.74 pounds. That’s an inmense variance in fat loss terms.

The scientists analized the results and classified the subjects in two groups. They called the first group the “compensators” and the second one the “Non-compensators”. In the first group there were people who were hungrier after the cardio training. They were eating more after the exercise, therefore, they were consuming more calories and they weight loss was poor. They consumed an extra 268 calories per day.

If your appetite increase when you do slow cardio, then it will ruin your cardio training. You will not achieve the same results as other people. Then, maybe is time to change your cardio program and find the right one to your needs. You have to check your appetite and calorie intake to see if you are “compensating” for your efforts. And if it’s happening, it’s better for you to use a program of high-intensity resistance and interval training (i.e. Turbulence Training) for your weight loss efforts.

The Professor Steve Boucher in Australia has shown in his research that interval training increases hormones called catecholamines. As these hormones increase they can reduce appetite, among other fat-burning benefits.

In the real world, few people lose 33 pounds after 12 weeks of cardio. Heck, few even achieve an average weight loss of 8 pounds with aerobic exercise.

What you have to do is check your appetite, and consider giving high-intensity exercise a go for your next workout program. Beat the curse of cardio with high-intensity Turbulence Training.

Why Cardio Does Not Work The Same For Everybody?

by Ricardo Daryans

It’s a strange thing how cardio doesn’t work the same for all men and women. You have maybe tried with it, and, maybe, it didn’t gave you the results you were looking for. Here you will find why and what to do to achieve the best results in your cardio trianing program.

Most of people who work in a cardio program do seven, ten or more hours per week, and still have fat in their waist to burn for a long time. But there are other people who look great with the same or with even a smaller lapse of time. Some researchers in Great Britain went insight into this paradox, and studied 35 overweight men and women, who weren’t previously exercising.

The subjects exercised for 12 weeks, 5 times per week. That’s a lot of exercise and it helped the subjects lose an average of 8.2 pounds, but it worked better in young men, who need the help the least!

If we analyse the results we’ll find some surprises. The best subject lost 32.3 pounds in 12 weeks, but the worst subject actually gained 3.74 pounds. That’s an inmense variance in fat loss terms.

So, these were not good news for the scientists. At least not for the ones that wanted to go home. They discovered there were 2 groups of people, they called them “compensators” and “non-compensators”. The first ones were hungrier and consumed extra calories every day, whiping the slate clean in cardio results terms. So, they lost just small amounts of weight.

Does your appetite increase when you do slow cardio? If it does, research shows it will ruin your cardio efforts. So if your cardio program is not working for you, check your appetite and calorie intake to see if you are “compensating” for your efforts. If you are, you might be better off using a program of high-intensity resistance and interval training (i.e.

So again, check your appetite, and consider giving high-intensity exercise a go for your next workout program. Beat the curse of cardio with high-intensity Turbulence Training.

Cheap Treadmills

by Ray Lam

The only way fitness equipment manufacturers can make a profit on cheap treadmills is by loading them with poorly made parts and motors. Limiting your shopping to cheap treadmills will doom you to finding, in a matter of months, that your machine’s motor or electronic console is failing. Given the short duration of the warranties on most cheap treadmills, you could end up with a useless and very large fitness machine hogging your living space until you can find someone to take it off your hands.

The only good reason for considering cheap treadmills is that you might not know exactly how dedicated you will remain to your workouts. The idea of spending two or three thousand on a commercial quality machine which you may get tired of in a couple of months does not make much sense.

You want to make sure that the treadmill is sturdy and can stand up to not only your weight, but also the routine you plan to put it through. You don’t what to be working out on your treadmill when all of a sudden a handle comes off or the body of the machine breaks down.

You can expect a minimum of features, which are one of the biggest factors in determining the price of a Treadmill. Adjustable inclines, voice coaches, and heart rate monitors are all very nice, but expensive. You don’t really need them unless you are a serious athlete training for competition.

You can also expect cheap treadmills to develop operational problems in a relatively short time, often in less than a year. So before you buy any of the cheap treadmills you are considering, study the warranty on each of them. The one which offers the longest protection on electronics and the motor is.

Most of all whether it’s on cheap treadmills or expensive treadmills you don’t want to over do your exercise routine. Be aware of your heart rate and check with your doctor to make see what is safe for you to do.

Three Tips for Attracting Women That You Really Want

by Charles Cruz

I’ve been coaching guys in the dating realm well over a decade now. Over the years I’ve seen recurring beliefs that could destroy a mans chances of achieving success with the women that they really want. They think that they have to be rich or good looking to pick up on beautiful women. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Here’s the truth. Improve on these and you’ll be up a notch!

Sleep At Least 8 Hours a Day

It doesn’t matter if you’re in school, a dropout, or working 2 jobs. You must get at least 8 hours of sleep. You don’t want to attract women when you look tired.

It’s a fact that if you get plenty of sleep, you’ll feel better. When you feel better, you look better. It helps if you don’t look tired while approaching women.

Respect Yourself More

A lot of guys that I’ve trained don’t respect themselves. They tell me how they don’t deserve a woman. They tell me how beautiful a girl is and that the woman could find much better.

When you start to respect yourself, you’ll realize that you’re actually worth something. I say this because a lot of chumps respect women because of their looks. Stop putting women (and other human beings) on a plain higher than you. Remember, love and respect yourself.

Building Up Yourself

Women will be attracted to you when they see that you’re worth something. This isn’t about money. It’s about building up your skill set, your knowledge, and what you can provide.

A lot of single guys don’t understand this. They can’t even sell themselves because they’re so focused in their own world. When you’re in this boat, you only know things that you like and expect others to follow. There aren’t so many beautiful women that are highly attracted to belching, beer drinking, comic book reading, video game playing, couch potatoes.

Now It’s Time For You To Execute the Plan

If you thought that I was going to discuss some special dating gimmick, sorry to disappoint you. While those might be helpful, what I’ve mentioned are essential things that many single guys miss. After teaching for over a decade now, I’ve seen these things lessen the chances of success with dating.

This is all about working smart. If your goal is to get the women or woman that you desire, you have to work at it with a strategy. Once you’ve developed your core strengths, then you’ll be ready for the next step.
